Test Drive DashKit's Core Controls
Experience our fluid hold-and-slide light dimmer, smart header badges & low-battery alerts, instant room-wide shutoff, and sensor-driven Day/Night themes right in your browser.
0.5s Hold & Slide + Floating Warmth & Color Presets
Press and hold any light card for half a second, then slide your finger up or down without lifting it. Adjustable-white bulbs show 7 floating warmth presets (`2200K`–`6500K`), while color bulbs add 7 vibrant RGB presets. Notice how DashKit automatically switches text and icons between dark charcoal and crisp white so they are always easy to read.
Header Status Badges & Worldwide iPhone Notifications
Create custom alerts triggered by one or multiple accessories (using AND / OR conditions) or sensor levels (like temperature rising above 26°C). Each family member chooses which badges appear in their header (Tag icon) and which send push notifications to their phone (Bell icon). Your home iPad monitors HomeKit 24/7 and sends instant push alerts—complete with your custom message and badge icon—to your iPhone anywhere in the world, even when the app is closed!
Switch Day, Night, Standby & Kiosk Lock via HomeKit Sensors
Every mode (Day Profile, Night Profile, Active/Standby States, Kiosk Lock, and Guest Mode) can switch automatically on a time schedule OR instantly when any HomeKit sensor or switch changes (for example, room light levels dropping below 40 LUX, turning off the bedroom light, or flipping a HomeKit switch). Adjusts true hardware screen brightness for deep night comfort.
0.5s Hold-to-Off Instant Room Shutdown
Single taps are ignored so you never shut down a room by accident. Press and hold the room status badge below for half a second to turn off all active lights, ACs, and fans in the Master Suite at once—while safely leaving locks, gates, and shutters untouched!
Every Detail Built For Real Life At Home
Explore the thoughtful capabilities that set DashKit apart from every generic smart home app.
Up to 10 Columns & Live Layout Preview
Choose an independent column count for every tab—from compact 2-column iPhone grids up to 10 columns on wide iPad & Mac displays—while watching your live dashboard update behind the popup. In Edit Sections Mode, the bottom navigation bar expands so you can create up to 3 custom tabs, reorder tabs, or hide any tab from guests or from the current device in a single tap.
Instant Guest Wi-Fi QR & One-Switch Guest Mode
Tap the Wi-Fi button to display a crisp QR code visitors can scan with their phone camera to join your network immediately. Turn on Guest Mode (from the menu or via a linked HomeKit switch) to hide private rooms and accessories, turn personal calendars into clean date displays, and lock settings on the wall iPad—while your personal iPhone stays completely unrestricted.
Doorbell Auto-Popup & 3 Built-In Quick Actions
When someone rings the doorbell, DashKit automatically opens the widescreen live video feed over a frosted glass backdrop. Tap TALK to automatically unmute two-way audio, and control up to 3 favorite accessories (such as unlocking the front door, turning on porch lights, or disarming the alarm) right inside the camera window without closing the live video.
Side-by-Side Rooms View & Instant Room/Accessory Hiding
Filter by floor or zone at the top, pick any room in the fixed left sidebar, and scroll through neatly grouped categories on the right. Want a cleaner dashboard? Hide individual accessories or entire rooms in one tap so utility switches or unused rooms never clutter your views—while keeping them 100% available in Settings for badge alerts and sensor triggers.
Wave Any Empty Carton Hands-Free
Wave any item in front of your wall iPad or iPhone. DashKit scans barcodes hands-free with a sweeping red laser, front-screen softbox lighting for dim kitchens, duplicate protection, and 0.4s long-press product renaming—synced across the family via iCloud. Launch the scanner anytime from your iPhone Home Screen, Lock Screen, Control Center, or Siri Shortcuts.
Sensor-Triggered Day, Night & Standby
Switch between Day Profile, Night Profile, Active/Standby screens, or Kiosk Lock on a schedule OR instantly via any HomeKit sensor or switch (room light levels, motion, bedroom lights, or a linked HomeKit switch). Includes 32 wallpapers with live full-screen preview, smart delay while you are actively touching the screen, and 6 Standby Clock styles.
Weather, Calendar, Photo Slideshows & Music
Personalize your canvas with 6 artistic Weather styles (comparing outdoor forecast vs. indoor HomeKit average), 6 Calendar styles dynamically colored by your next event, a Photo & Slideshow Widget with 9-point crop alignment and tap-to-zoom fullscreen gallery, an Apple Music & Spotify mini-player with AirPlay routing, and a built-in Apple TV Remote.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do Smart Badges and remote iPhone Push Notifications work together? +
Every rule you create under Settings → Smart Badges & Notifications has two independent switches on each device: a Tag switch (to show the colored status pill in the top header bar) and a Bell switch (to receive push notifications on that device). By setting one always-on home iPad or Mac as your DashKit Central Hub, it monitors your home 24/7 and sends instant push notifications—complete with your custom alert message and matching badge icon—to your iPhone anywhere in the world, even when DashKit is closed on your phone.
Can I hide unused accessories or entire rooms without losing them in automations? +
Yes! Under Settings → Rooms & Accessories, simply tap the Eye icon next to any room or individual accessory to hide it from all operational dashboards (Home, Rooms, Lighting, Climate, Security) and the Add Widget catalog—keeping your daily interface clean and clutter-free. Hidden rooms and accessories remain 100% available inside Settings so you can still use their sensors or switches to trigger Smart Badges, Push Notifications, and Day/Night Appearance profiles. You can also hide specific rooms, accessories, or tabs exclusively during Guest Mode.
Can Day/Night Appearance, Standby, and Kiosk Lock be triggered by HomeKit sensors or switches? +
Yes. Under Settings → Dynamic Appearance, Day Profile, Night Profile, Active/Standby states, Kiosk Lock Mode, and Guest Mode can each be triggered by a daily schedule OR immediately by any HomeKit accessory or sensor (such as light sensors dropping below a Lux level, temperature sensors, or flipping a HomeKit switch). When triggered by a sensor or switch, the screen updates immediately; when triggered by a time schedule while someone is actively using the iPad, DashKit waits until they finish before switching modes.
Does TwentyTwo collect my HomeKit data, camera feeds, photos, or personal calendars? +
Never. DashKit is built on a strict 100% Zero-Server privacy architecture. All HomeKit controls, live camera streams, barcode scanning, photo widgets, calendars, and grocery lists stay exclusively on your devices and inside your personal Apple iCloud account.
If I customize the grid or column count on my iPhone, will it change our wall iPad? +
No. While shared household settings (Smart Badge rules, room/zone ordering, hidden rooms & accessories, Guest Wi-Fi QR, and your family grocery catalog) sync automatically via iCloud, each device's Home layout, Custom Tabs, column count (from 2 up to 10 columns), wallpapers, and Day/Night standby profiles are saved 100% locally on that specific device.
What happens if I hide the Settings button on my wall iPad? How do I get back in? +
When the bottom-right Settings button is hidden for an ultra-clean wall display, simply press and hold (for 0.5 seconds) directly on the Home Name or Section Title in the top-left header bar to open the PIN keypad and Settings menu.
